USAGES

To determine which TRACK & SLIDE® picture hanging system to use, you should first decide whether the art object should be hung directly on the wall, or on wires.

Direct wall hanging is often advantageous for museums, hotels, private colletors and permenant exhibitions. With Track & Slide® picture hanging, the object is "locked" onto the wall, thus hindering unwanted removal.

Wire hanging, on the other hand, offers more flexibility since the position of the painting can be varied along the wall/ceiling/gallery track. Another advantage is that holes do not have to be drilled into the wall.  For these reasons, Track & Wire® hanging systems are especially suitable for galleries and changing exhibitions.

TRACK & SLIDE® elements are needed for direct wall hanging; TRACK & WIRE® elements, along with WIRES and WALL or CEILING TRACKS, are needed for wire hanging.

We offer hangers in different sizes, which can be used for paintings of different sizes and weights.

If you know the approximate size and weight of your paintings, you can use our Usage Table.pdf to determine which TRACK & SLIDE® or TRACK & WIRE® units are best for your needs. Alternatively, you can send us this information, and we can help you with your choice.

We recommend HOOK4WALL for paintings on loan and objects in galleries (for direct wall hanging), or HOOK4WIRE (for paintings on wire).

Both picture hanging systems can be combined with existing hangers (for example ring hooks) to offer increased safety and security.

Our TRACK & GLIDE picture hanging system is especially useful for paintings which, in addition to high security, need a minimal distance to the wall.

For painting transport and storage, we have compatible accesories. Please don't hestitate to contact us with any questions you might have. We're happy to be of service.
